This was the clients old desk which came from his mentor. The desk itself was a reproduction of an older original Hobbs. With the desk being a reproduction rather than an original, we altered the desk to fit the alcove in the clients new office and finished with polishing. We also repaired the front which was damaged after years of the family using a swivel chair at the desk. Not all furniture has to be expensive to restore. This was a very sentimental piece to the client and we were pleased to bring back some warmth to the piece for them.
